My hopes for you.

January 11, 2025

As much as I love showing up each week to serve and inspire, the time has come for me to sign off for 2024. To step back, reflect, and just be.

But before I do, I want to express something important.

Your stories, your growth, your willingness to face hard truths and pursue meaningful change — these have been the fuel behind every word I’ve written. As we touched on last week, gratitude isn’t just about saying thank you — it’s about recognising what truly matters.

This year has asked a lot from all of us. We’ve navigated challenges, celebrated triumphs, faced setbacks, and pushed through barriers we once thought impossible.

Some of us have lost. Some have gained. All of us have grown.

As I sit here writing this final newsletter of 2024, I find myself reflecting not just on what has passed, but on what I truly hope for each of you as we step into 2025.

What I hope for you, goes beyond the usual New Year wishes. Beyond the goals, the metrics, and the achievements that society tells us define success.

I hope you don’t cling to the things you’ve outgrown just because they feel familiar. I hope you recognise when it’s time to let go and trust that what lies ahead holds more for you than what’s behind. I hope you stop seeing everything you lose as a loss, but instead as a lesson.

I hope you don’t take life so seriously that you forget the things that truly matter. That you make time for laughter, for connection, and for the simple moments that bring you joy. I hope you remember that success isn’t just about achieving, but also about living fully and deeply.

I hope you stop denying yourself happiness because of your mistakes, your rough edges, or your past. That you see yourself not as flawed, but as human, whole, and deserving of love, success, and joy. I hope that when the sun finally shines on you, you let yourself feel its warmth.

I hope you allow yourself to become the version of you capable of achieving the dreams you hold closest. That you stop convincing yourself it’s not the right time or that another opportunity will come along.

I hope you break free from the limits others have set for you, and the limits you’ve set for yourself. That you stop capping your potential at what’s considered normal or possible by others. I hope you develop the character, habits, and skills to create the life you truly want and are capable of living. That you let go of the parts of you that no longer serve your growth and find the courage to move beyond the comfort of the familiar.

I hope you understand that every choice you make is shaping who you are, either the person you’ve always been or the one you’ve always wanted to be. You are a work of your own making, not just by chance, but by choice.

I hope you give yourself permission to succeed. That you leave room for life to turn out better than you’d planned. And I hope you don’t sabotage yourself when the good things find you. And I hope you come out on the other side better, changed, wiser, bolder, stronger, and more fulfilled.

I hope allow yourself to become more than you ever thought you could be.

Most importantly, I hope you realise that every moment holds the potential for change. Every decision, no matter how small, is shaping who you are becoming, either the person you want to be or the person you’ve always been. The choice, as always, is yours.

Because here’s what I know to be true — you are becoming who you are based on the choices you make every single day. Not the big, heroics ones that come along every few years, but the small, seemingly insignificant decisions that shape your beliefs, habits, your mindset, and ultimately, your life.

As you step into 2025, remember this — you don’t need to have it all figured out. You don’t need to transform everything overnight. You just need to make choices that align with who you choose to become, one moment at a time.

I’ll be taking some time to immerse myself in what brings me joy — quality time with loved ones, long runs in the mountain and slow days at the beach. I encourage you to do the same.

To find your peace amidst the chaos, to celebrate what’s been, and to open yourself to what’s possible.

I’ll be back in January, ready to continue this journey together. Until then, thank you for being part of this community, for your trust, and for allowing me to be part of your story. And I hope that this festive season will be a time of closure and celebration for you, paving the way for a healthy, brighter and more united tomorrow.

Sending a world of love to each of you, especially those facing challenges this holiday season. Whether dealing with loss, distance, or difficult emotions, know that you are not alone.

Wishing you nothing but the best that the season has to offer.

Merry Christmas, and see you in the new year.
